Artist's Comments

Created specially for the grand opening of my workplace "1 Caramel". We had to make taste portions of all our cakes and desserts for the guests.

This is a simplified version of the Nid d'abeille. 2 Layers of dacquoise sandwiched with honey chiboust cream and a strawberry coulis jelly. Decorated with marzipan bee with sliced almond wings.

Looks very delicious! I love taster sized portions, means you can get a taste of all those great creations :D

You know, everything looks so elegant, with the serving dishes you have them in (I'm not sure what to call them) and how they're laid out.

In the kitchen, we refer to them as "those plastic cups, the square ones and the round ones"... Yeah, we are real big on the technical terms!
:iconswmnyin:
 That's actually quite funny. Well, I really like them. Some of the things you have at the bakery are much cooler than what some of the bakeries here have. Gosh, we sure could use some of your talent here.
