Aha, thanks for telling me that about cutting out the shapes, I have seen paper templates in the cake dec books but never really used them because of the fiddlliness quotient, but I'll have to give it a try. I was talking to my cake dec tutor about it the other day and he said he has had the same trouble finding big scalloped cutters for making those kind of flowers so maybe they just aren't out there. I'll have to give your way a try. Your flowers are stunning, and so fashionable. I love the sugarveil too, but it's a bit expensive for all the kit. It looks great on your monochrome cake.

Gorgeous, I love the monochrome and the very subtle pink of the flowers. Would you mind telling me what cutters you have used for the flowers? I've been trying to find some just like that and not been able to find what I want.

I used my own cardboard templates to cut out the shapes :)
