Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Ron Ben-Israel Chopard Cake

After some research, I finally found out that the Chopard cake I was asked to make is originally a design by the famous Ron Ben-Israel of Ron Ben-Israel Cakes in New York!!

Can I just say... this guy is one of my idols! And while my cake will probably never be as famous as his, nor have Sir Elton John, Elizabeth Hurley and a bevy of other celebrities sing it's praises, I must admit that I am a little proud that I've had such an opportunity to re-create one of his designs!

And on hindsight... I'm guessing my price tag was quite a bargain lol...

Wonderful job you did, I love you work, if they think you are good enough to recreate a cake master mind piece, that should tell you something about your previous post. It's obvious you aren't in the right position from a marketing strategy point of view, your cakes are really top notch, so the only thing left is to market yourself. We all know people will pay for a name, it may be worth advertising yourself, your work deserves it and so do you!

And to tell you something ...well, funny, because the world is a little village.
Some of my co-workers from the business where I work right now, went to Basel (Suiss) in March to work at the big exhibition where Chopard presented all they're new samples.
That's the reason why I was like: Whoa, Chopard! Makes you think of something.

Sadly I didn't go, because I had something else to atend to.

Do you know if it was at the exhibition in Basel?
Could be that they had several shows around the world, even so it would make sense to have it there, because the manufactur is in Basel as far as I know.

Both are absolutely gorgeous cakes and yours stands up well against his lol. I would have to make sure to take a breather every once in a while or I would end up cracking under the pressure of having to replicate something that extravagant; quite a bit of responsibility and high expectations lol.
